Joy is a high vibrational frequency.
Joy is sometimes thought of as an exuberant response with expressions of happiness, shouts of laughter, or perhaps dancing. Joy is an emotion which may be expressed in these ways, however joy is not always loud or even out loud. Because the roots of joy and peace are woven together, joy may be mostly internal such as a warm, peaceful, filling of your heart.
Joy is healing. For humans, for the planet, for all beings. Do a joy experiment and focus on joy by noticing the small things that make you smile, encourage you or another, or bring peace. You’ll likely begin to feel grateful and find your perspective and the atmosphere around you changing. Gratitude is one of the key gateways to joy. If others in the world were to join your experiment, the consciousness on the planet would respond by rising.
Joy is not dependent on one individual or one event. Joy depends on the heartset of each of you, together; of all of you.
What primarily bogs you down from seeking joy however is the suffering that you see around you. How is it that you can feel joy or even to seek joy, when you know that others are hurting? This is the struggle that you have. And yet, the most helpful thing that you can do is to open yourself towards joy in your life.
Joy ripples out. Again, joy does not have to be loud or even out loud. Quiet ripples of joy, woven with peace and love, will carry compassion. Compassion is one of the more beautiful threads in the tapestry of love.
In fact, joy and compassion go best together and often flow into helping others. Helping others in very practical ways raises the vibration for both the receiver and the giver. More joy!
So, seek your joy. Because joy is there, seeking you.
